Tortellini.co is a personal food blog that I created at the beginning of my career. The blog is a start point of graphic design and content producing that I made as a case study for myself. The aim was to publish easy-to-follow recipes using gif animation for each cooking step and provide other useful nutritional facts. I use this blog to experiment with video production, animation making, UI design, photo-editing, and digital marketing.

  • The Recipe page is the most distinctive page of the blog. It is designed to be the featured page with more types of content. The aim of this page is to make the recipe easier to understand. What I found to be limited in many online recipes is that it only has a simple text explanation or a minimum of 1 min video recipe explanation. I found that to be quite time-consuming to follow a recipe. So I have created an online recipe page with more types of content that can easily follow by just skimming through the page. I have created an animated GIF image for each cooking step in order to make the recipe easier and faster to understand. The ingredients are shown in the picture with the checkbox on the ingredients list to make it easier to follow. The short video is also made to give a real vision of how the recipe is made.
